​Sensei Leonard Kong currently holds a SSKANZ certified 4rd Dan Black belt. He is a senior instructor at SSKANZ and a highly medaled karate champion. His achievements include:   
·    2007 Australian Open – 65 Kg Gold     
·    2006 Oceania Championships – 65 Kg Bronze   
·    2005 Commonwealth Championship – 65 Kg Bronze, Team Kumitie Bronze     
·    2004 Oceania Championships -65 Kg Gold

He has been a SSKANZ instructor since 2001 and has been a NZ Karate Squad member between 2002 and 2008. He has been actively competing in Karate championships since 1996.
